AR: essay on Mies & more

On the cover of  The Architectural Review: The Titanic, photomontage by Stanley Tigerman. A tribute to architect Mies van der Rohe on the cover of AR. The inducement is the publication of a major new monograph on this world famous creator by Detlef Mertins: Mies. In his essay in AR Spyros Papateros states: “Perhaps the ultimate fulfilment of Mies’ vision of ‘organic architecture’ would be a structure that, like water, become invisible by dissolving into the ground. ‘
