Culture new design idea

Things to travel with

German-English magazine Form comes with a extra now and again: Ding, magazine on things.

Ding is a nice, small magazine that comes as a extra with Form Magazine. As title already betrays, Ding is on things. In the second and latest issue: things you need and buy en route. Souvenir t-shirts, a Swiss Army knife, a backpack. And tings that are a bit more awkward and/or specific: an ostrich pillow, a Canadian flag, hunter boots.

Ding is made by the faculty of design of the Hochschule in München. Best pair of pages: Lethal Seat Patterns, a series of photo’s of of bus seats with heinous patterns. Everybody knows them, but, indeed, who designs this?
