IdN: stop-motion for Starbucks

Nice category in IdN Magazine: the Motion Gallery. With three crack creative units who believe in making movies in the old-fashioned way.

‘A glimpse of brilliance is the best description for Rogier Wieland’s stop-motion animation’, states IdN. The Dutch visual artist is fascinated by moving objects that are in fact unable to move. How the materials behave and what it looks like is more important than the stories and characters. In most cases that objects in the animation are cut out, and therefore Wieland knows exactly what we is going to shoot, in how many frames. One advice for other creatives: “If you want to work according to rules – make your own”.
