Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja in CR

Now in the new Creative Review

Interview with Robert Del Naja, graffiti artist and co-founder of the band Massive Attack. “The flame logo was stolen from and inspired by the Stiff Little Fingers album sleeve Inflammable Material.” Del Naja, now creative director of the visuals that are used by the band is open about the people that influenced him: the graffiti artists, Warhol, Basquiat. Recently the band surprised with Massive Attack vs Adam Curtis, a spectacular audio-visual stage show. “The question was whether we could create a new type of show that could tell a story cinematically, politically and musically in the form of a gig…”.
