Creative self promotion in the new HOW

Ok, the magazine isn’t thick and impressive, though it also contains some nasty cardboard ad pages.

But some of the concepts in HOW Magazine are, like this one from Ultra Creative, an ad and design agency from Minneapolis, USA. Bears must be never far away in that area of United States, but Ultra Creative brangs them even closer. The box ‘Urban Bearkeeping’ was sent to all of their clients, as a gift. It contains a range of useful thing for any urban bearkeeper: snacks for all the seasons a bear is awake, an informative deck of cards and a whistle that can be used if all information didn’t have the right effect. All packed in a beautiful box.

The end of the year is nearing fast, I wonder what they’re going to send their clients this year. More self-promotional ideas of  design agencies and a useful backgrounders (e.g. a guide for content marketing success) in this latest issue.
