LFI: American Colour: Outrageous, garish, orchestrated

Very nice portfolio in LFI Magazine:

Californian photographer John Lou Miles, and his attractive muse Sloan on many of his pictures. Self taught and inspired by the American cartoon culture, pop artist Roy Lichtenstein and Helmut Newton, ao. Miles in LFI: “I am drawn to blue and red. I love these two colours. It’s my suprarching theme, like Superman and Spider-Man”. And like the stars and stripes, of course.

Also in LFI: World of Wire, documentary photography by Kai Löffelbein. About the 130.000 who live in ‘cages’ in Hong Kong; Istanbul’s Labyrinth by Turkish photographer Göksin Varan; Paris in the 50’s, by German photographer Peter Cornelius and a reportage on the collapse of Syria, photography Benjamin Hiller.
