Design: pictures for facts and figures in Novum

The art of organising facts and figures, to explain complex matters in a few pages or pictures. Novum Plus, the heart of design magazine Novum, focuses on infographics and highlight designers and art directors with bright design ideas in this area: Kim Angie Cicutting, Alberto Antoniazzi and Francesco Franchi (It), Folio Verlag (Aut), Byan Christie (USA) and Trick (NL).

But our favorite is Ole Häntzschell from Germany, the man who turns dull Excel documents into picturesque and surprising pieces of information. He seems to be able to work with every fact of life, simple or complex: from the colour range of Angela Merkel’s jackets to complex relationships, cartographics, flow schemes, logistic schemes.
