LFI: homocide capital Caracas
President for the fourth time: Venezuelan presidente Hugo Chavez was re-elected in Octobre and has since then disappeared from the stage, seeming in a serious condition. So is his country, according to photographer Oscar B. Castillo and journalist Boris Muñoz.
“ The Venezuelan Observatory of Violence calculates that homocides in the country have multiplied over four times in one decade. From 4.000 in 1999 to more than 19.000 in 2011. The ratio of murder victims to inhabitants is 60 to 100.000: at the United Nations any amount above 10 to 100.000 is considered a homocidal epidemic.
