Out now: IdN 19, the Character Design Issue

It is loud, expressive, vibrant en full of life: IdN, International designers Network. Not only a magazine, but a DVD as well – every issue contains a disc with hours of creativity. And of course a website.

The latest IdN concentrates on character design, funny nifty creatures that add value to communication and commercial brands. The magazine interviews nine leading designers, from the east and the west. Asian designers as Ding-Dong (Hong Kong), NC Empire (Japan) and Sticky Monster Lab (Korea),  Americans like Kevin Lyons and Superdeux and Europeans as Craig & Karl, Genevieve Gauckler, James Jarvis and Yum Yum.

But there is more to IdN 19. It also surveys the design climate in Norway, has two leading experts explain about powerful movie poster design and has a surprising PotM, which of course stands for Pick of the Month.
